The Return Of Comic Con

I’m talking Comic Con and all the awesome stuff I didn’t see

See this? See this beautiful, super-mega-foxy-awesome-hot picture? This is what I missed as Comic Con came and went this past weekend in San Diego.

Do I sound bitter? Maybe. Do I wish I could have gone to Comic Con? Yes and no.

While I would give anything (Maybe a couple of organs or the exact cost of one soul) to see Jensen Ackles and Jared ‘JPad’ Padalecki in person, the thought of going to Comic Con is still not appealing (Does this make me a bad nerd? I hope not. Nerds are my people!).

I don’t know why I wouldn’t want to go to Comic Con. Maybe it’s the fact, that it’s mostly waiting in long lines. And let’s face it, patience is not my middle name. Or, maybe it’s the thought of being suffocated by a million nerds?

I’ve heard that Comic Con is the be all and end all of all things awesome. Meh. I love the idea of going and seeing all my favorite stars in one place, but the negative just out ways the positive.

On the other hand, where else can you see Joss Whedon, The Mythbusters, Ryan Reynolds, J.J Abrams, and minion leader Misha Collins in one place? Nowhere. That’s where.

Maybe next year I will do what Fearless Leader Eric Kripke tells me, and go to Comic Con. Or I could just wait until everything goes up on YouTube? Tough decision (Do I have to add a sarcasm tag here?).

See you on Friday! – Kim

What do you think? Is the thought of seeing your favorite star in one convenient place good enough reason to go to Comic Con? Or would you rather stay at home? Tell me in the comments!
