Well hello to you and thank you for joining. While we were on the subject of British comedians, I figured we could grab a cuppa and talk about my very favorite one. Who is it, Kim? Well, thank you for asking. It’s Miranda Hart. Do you know Miranda? I first discovered her sitcom, Miranda, by accident a couple of years ago. I had no idea who she was or what the show was about, but after watching only one episode, I fell head over heels in love. There’s just something about the character, Miranda, that I can relate to. She’s doesn’t think like everyone else. I don’t think or write like everyone else. She’s awkward. I’m super awkward. She’s single and over thirty. I’m . . . Well, you get it. Miranda taught me that it’s okay to be who you are. It’s okay to like the things you like. I can’t think of another show that celebrates women and encourages them to embrace their own uniqueness quite like Miranda does. Love. Family. Relationships. Friendships. Miranda tackles these subjects with kindness, thoughtfulness, and with an incredible amount of humor. It is one of the best series I’ve ever seen. In fact, I’m going to go watch it again right now. SUCH FUN!
You can watch Miranda on Hulu and Amazon Prime.
