Fire & Water
I’ve been losing sleep. I’ve been keeping myself awake. I’ve been wandering the streets for days and days, and days. Going from row to row, bed to bed, lover to lover, and black to red. But I believe. I believe . . . there’s no salvation for me now; no space among the clouds. And I feel I’m heading down, but that’s alright. That’s alright!
And I’ve been taking chances. I’ve been setting myself up for the fall. And I’ve been keeping secrets from my heart and from my soul. Going from row to row, bed to bed, lover to lover, and black to red. But I believe. I believe . . . there’s no salvation for me now; no space among the clouds. And I feel I’m heading down, but that’s alright. That’s alright!

I thought it was an interesting video. Not really how I imaged, but Flo makes it work. I really liked the scenes with the bonfire. I thought it was a liberating moment. So much of her music is about liberation. Even when it’s dark, it has this element of freedom. I love that.
Great post.
Yeah, I thought it would be more 60’s inspired or something. With the exception of “Spectrum” all her videos have been kind of sad lately. Especially, “Sweet Nothing.” The bonfire scene is my favorite too. I agree, it’s all about liberation. She’s just singing to the night, finally at peace.
