There is an overwhelming sense of dread as you gaze upon the desolate Australian landscape, as you try to interpret the stunning and disturbing imagery of The Rover. Like a photograph assembled of riddles, the film’s first trailer plays out in grim and eerie detail. Every scene is clouded in mystery and subject to dissection. It leaves us wanting more.
