I’m kinda mad at you guys at the moment. You knew about Lake Street Dive this whole time and you didn’t tell me about them. I am really disappointed in you. They are absolutely freakin’ amazing . . . to put it eloquently. I stumbled upon them by sheer happenstance only twenty-four hours ago, but I am declaring my undying love for them right here and right now. After listening to Good Kisser and a couple of other songs, I immediately downloaded their 2018 album, Free Yourself Up. Their signature blend of jazz, blues, and pop create a sound that is downright addictive and unequivocally euphonious. Rachael Price’s lead vocals are deliciously deep, a true stand out. I want to turn the volume all the way up and listen to this song in my car with the windows rolled down, hair blowing in the wind, shouting the lyrics at the top of my lungs.
