666 Park Avenue

Welcome to The Drake

As the new fall TV season begins, the time has come to finally make that all-important decision. What to watch? You already have your old favorites scheduled, picking off the ones that have failed to comply with your standards, and upgrading last years newbies who have proved themselves worthy to be added to your limited DVR space. Now is the time to experiment, sorting through those abundant previews and choosing two or three as potential must-sees. I admit, my own list is pretty scarce this time around, but one show did catch my attention. I submit for your approval, 666 Park Avenue. Based on the Gabriella Pierce novel of the same name, the story centers around Henry (Dave Annable) and Jane (Rachael Taylor) who have just signed on to manage The Drake, a mysterious but fashionable Upper East Side apartment building. The two are thrown into a world of power and money, revenge and sex, seemingly finding their place among the elite. Everything seems too good to be true . . . and it is. What they don’t know, is owners Gavin (Terry O’Quinn) and Olivia (Vanessa Williams) are hiding more than their fair share of supernatural secrets. 666 Park Avenue premieres September 30th at 9pm CET. Why don’t you take a look at the preview and tell me what you think. Will you be watching?

Will you watch 666 Park Avenue? What did you think of the trailer? Have you read the novel? Are there any other new shows you plan to watch? Tell me in the comments!

The video won’t play in my country 😦

I thought “Gossip Girl” when I saw the apartment building.
Looks good, and John Locke from Lost is in it!

        1. I actually thought “Devil’s Advocate” when I first saw the preview. It seems like kind of the same premise to me, though through unwanted spoilers I can tell you Terry O’Quinn is not the devil. Lol. He’s actually why I first wanted to see the show. I’m an avid Lost fan too. *Sigh* I really miss that show.

Yes, it was very like The Devil’s Advocate. Thanks for bringing this show to my attention.

        3. You’re welcome 🙂
